The West Point, Iowa Sweet Corn Festival

Elvis Presley, The King of Rock and Roll, is shown here eating sweet corn in this 1992 Sweet Corn Festival photo. Elvis is reported to have eaten over 15,000 ears of corn during his lifetime. Of course, he's still counting. An unconfirmed rumor states Elvis will once again roam the midway at this year's West Point Sweet Corn Festival. Elvis was overheard saying, "I just love that hot buttered corn. Thank you, Thank you very much."
